Esoteric 03:55
Do you hear the echoes of a truth I've forever known? As above below You wanna paint the ceiling of a temple you'll never own? Evidently so But if your colours begin to run, I'll have you know you're not the only one and if you're careless, you just may join me in the nothingness out here With the sullen beauty of a solitary silhouette against the eastern sun With the bittersweetness of your very last cigarette, yet another one I don't endeavour to bring you down, but I'm grateful for the peace that I have found And if you're careless, you just may join me in the nothingness out here Soul full of reason, and hastiness and so and and so forth but I digress Still, if you're lonely in your world, join me in the nothingness out here

All in time 03:43
Memories entwined, undefined. And from this dream, we'll in time awaken suffer defeat when your faith is shaken I swear I've been here before Tell me who's to say, that this could not be any other way The disbelief on your face, I've found lately is all too commonplace Memories design, so unkind. All that we knew of a timeless mystery slipped through the cracks of the wall of history I swear I've been here before Tell me who's to say, that this could not be any other way The restlessness of our race, I've found lately is all too commonplace Thinning the line between a reality and a memory and on and on and on and on in a pantomime. Sorry I couldn't be the one with all the answers for ya, All in time.

Seeds of a new intention, it dawned on us we are the disaffected. In lies a true connection, song of us all in eternal conjunction All of our inhibitions, and all we once knew merely a dull reflection Say, could you take it upon yourself, to embrace solidarity? Know this; that indeed we are as one, before we waste away everything that they left us
4.
You've indicated your penchant for all things grey what a shame for you Take a look around at the state of disarray what a perfect view Take a moment, take it in. Best believe that you'll find the drama you seek to deliver you Is it any wonder your constant mood is bleak, on a river so blue Take it in stride, take my hand. I've a theory we're only as despondent as we care to be Look at all the times when you could've been content That you could not forsee Don't you tell me that you don't need it.
5.
Sonder 02:20
You seethe every waking hour, as though you fail to see the one that I've come to know and love Though you couldn't less agree May I remind you, that we're just the same It's easier that way Pray tell, have you and your darkest days parted ways?
6.
Gallivanting 02:53
Making time for the misanthropes you know how the bitter ones never grow Pick apart all the songs we ever sang, you can be the yin if I can be the yang Let us pray? Au contraire, let us wait paitently Taking time to reflect upon the past were we to know that it could never last? Still the sentimentality of it all gave a sign that we could never fall Set me down, oh so gently on the surface of the sun Current seas threaten the heart of us all we do have done and will do again I'm sure adds to the dissonance of it all

Zombies en masse and devoid of all passion, words thrown around in a meaningless fashion The irony is to claim a place in art you see, without the slightest shred of integrity Liars all, to compensate for what you can't achieve with a parody of all that I believe Difficult to discern, blessing, curse, or simply an honest respect for the written verse But image takes priority over soul, self indulgence the one remaining goal Fixated on a pointless bullshit list that stands so small I'd rather not hear any goddamn thing at all Widespread belief, don't stand for truth What of the pride that we once knew?
8.
Schematics 03:04
Wasted in the south, faces in the clouds Wasting time, all we do is talk about it It's no crime, I would never dare to doubt it The free will of the meek is, in a sense, unique Little dove, don't you ever go astray A little love is all we had the other day We're not above the trees, the light in you agrees Virtue sold for the dreams of yesterday Weren't you told? The future isn't far away
9.
Dismal Swamp 02:38
Don't let the fires burn too bright now lest they find our stronghold in the mountain I found their intent highly peculiar count me out, leave me on the ocean You leave me no choice They'll try to deny the world has gone insane Now at night, still I'll cry leave enough to taste Beast of betrayal, so unassuming easy lover, the sun sets on your senses Hell of a tale Hell of a lesson Hell in your own way Hell, I don't know
10.
I beg forgiveness if I tend to go too far but I'm new to this, I'm learning as you are When the end of the day seems distant, seems patience is nonexistent see my point of view Seems alright to me These are all the lessons I was shown these are all the things I should have known I was once in your shoes my child, I was reckless and strange and wild many moons ago Seems lifetimes ago You'll grow to be as righteous as you can and I'll grow to be a wistful old man I could be your guide through this maze, we'll be on the same side always and someday you may too Be the middle man Another middle man I'm the middle man Just the middle man

about

The debut offering from Keyframe, this album was recorded in October 2014, at Banjo Frog Studios in the Adelaide hills.

The album is a diverse introspective alternative/art-rock journey with shades of prog that come courtesy of sound engineer and instrumentalist Gavin O'Loghlen, who also contributed keys, piano, and whistle.

With a wide variety of styles, ranging from celtic, to middle-eastern, to all out funky grooves, the album manages to surprise the listener with new sounds and influences, while still remaining at heart the acoustic/drums singer/songwriter band.
